    On December 13th, Studio Ghibli announced that they would release two movies "Kaze Tachinu", which is directed by Miyazaki Hayao, and "Kaguya-hime no Monogatari", directed by Takahata Isao, simultaneously.   • Studio Ghibli's "Princess Mononoke" to get stage play adaptation in London

    It was announced that anime film "Princess Mononoke", which Studio Ghibli released in 1997, will be getting a stage play adaptation in London. "Princess Mononoke" was written and directed by Miyazaki Hayao, and it was the first animation film to receive the Best Picture of the Japan Academy Awards.   • GKIDS to screen 15 works of Studio Ghibli in North America

    It's been announced that Studio Ghibli's famous works will be presented in North America! This event will be held by GKIDS, a distributor of animation in North America, at the IFC Center in New York. At this special screening, fifteen works of Studio Ghibli from 1984 to 2008 are scheduled to be shown.
