It was announced that HKT48 member Sashihara Rino would produce SKE48’s “lifetime honorary Kenkyuusei”, Matsumura Kaori’s solo debut. The announcement was made by Sashihara herself during the live broadcast of late-night variety show “AKB video center” which Sashihara serves as the MC.

According to Sashihara, she received a message from Akimoto Yasushi that says, “Business correspondence. SKE48’s lifetime honorary Kenkyuusei, Matsumura Kaori is making her solo debut, so you produce her. You, as an idol lover, enhance Matsumura’s charm. You decide the song, order for the song arrangements, and write the lyrics.”

Back in June last year, Sashihara produced a live event “Dai 1-kai Yubi Matsuri ~Idol Rinji Soukai~” which 10 idol groups, such as Momoiro Clover Z, Idoling!!!, and Nogizaka46, attended. She has also written the lyrics for two of her own solo songs.

After the live broadcasting of “AKB video center”, Sashihara updated her Google+, “It will be a very precious song for both Matsumura and her fans, so I will try my hardest!! I seriously have to do my best-.” She also wrote, “By the way, it was decided 5 minutes before the broadcast for real. I wish everybody could see how all of us panicked behind the scene…! (laughs)”

Matsumura also updated her Google+, “It seems like there are various opinions, but I am very happy personally. I was able to be in the news, thanks to Sashihara-san. No.4 (in the general election) is incredible after all-.”

As we reported earlier, Matsumura’s debut will be under a mysterious indie label called “Nishiki Dori Records”, and a limited number of 1000 copies will be released. (when all the 1,000 copies are sold out, additional pressed copies will be made).

It was revealed that HKT48’s Sashihara Rino will make an appearance in upcoming movie “Ore wa Mada Honki Dashitenai Dake.”

As reported previously, this is a live-action movie adaptation of Aono Shunju’s manga. The story follows a daily life of a failed father named “Oguro Shizuo” (played by Tsutsumi Shinichi) and his family.  Shizuo suddenly quits his job at age 41, to find his true self, but he spends all his time playing soccer games. One day, he randomly decides to become a manga artist.

The supporting cast members are made up of Hashimoto Ai, Namase Katsuhisa, Yamada Takayuki, Hamada Gaku, and Ishibashi Renji.

In the drama, Sashihara will be playing “Unami Aya”, a cool editor who turns down Shizuo’s manga flatly.

The movie is directed by Fukuda Yuichi has worked with Sashihara in movies and dramas before. Apparently, the director offered specifically offered movie to Sashihara. She commented, “Since I’m not an actress by profession, I was very nervous to do acting with such a big name like Tsutsumi Shinichi-san.”

“Ore wa Mada Honki Dashitenai Dake” is scheduled to open in theaters starting in June 15th.

On January 31, it was announced that the 2-disk DVD of the December 17 AKB48 concert, “The 2nd AKB48 Kohaku Taikou Uta Gassen”, will go on sale March 27 (4980 Yen, Avex.).

During the concert, the members separated into red and white teams and performed AKB48 songs. In addition, the White Team’s Watanabe Mayu (18) performed former AKB48 member Maeda Atsuko’s (21) solo song, while the Red Team’s Shimazaki Haruka (18) performed HKT48 member Sashihara Rino’s (20) solo song as they battled out for victory.This concert was not like any of their regular performances as it was an all-out competition between the red and white teams.

The DVD set also includes a booklet and photos.

Sashihara Rino has revealed the short PV for the ‘Muse no Kagami‘ version of “Ikujinashi Masquerade“!

“Ikujinashi Masquerade” is Sashihara’s 2nd solo single, and it will be released under the name ‘Sashihara Rino with Anrire‘ on October 17th. The unit group Anrire is made up of of AKB48 members Kawaei Rina, Kato Rena, and Iriyama Anna.

The PV for the ‘Muse no Kagami‘ version will be included in the Type C version of the single. It features scenes from Sashihara’s starring film, ‘Muse no Kagami: My Pretty Doll‘, which was released earlier this summer.

HKT48’s Sashihara Rino has revealed the jacket covers, track list, and short PV for her 2nd solo single, “Ikujinashi Masquerade“!

“Ikujinashi Masquerade” will be released under the name ‘Sashihara Rino with Anrire‘. Anrire is a unit comprised of AKB48 members Kawaei Rina, Kato Rena, and Iriyama Anna, and they appear in Sashihara’s new artist photo and jacket covers.

The single will be available in 4 different versions: Type A, Type B, Type C, and a Theater Edition. Kawaei is in charge of the center position for Type A’s jacket cover and music video.

For its coupling track, each version will include “Soft Cream・Kiss“. Additionally, Type A will contain “if no Mousou“, which is written by Sashihara herself. Type B will come with a cover for Hirosue Ryoko’s “Maji de Koi Suru 5-byou Mae“, and Type C will contain a Hakata dialect version of “Ikujinashi Masquerade”. Finally, the Theater Edition will include “Tooi Machi e“, which is also written by Sashihara.

“Ikujinashi Masquerade” will be released on October 17th. In the meantime, take a look at the jacket covers, track list, and short PV (Type A version) below!

HKT48’s Sashihara Rino (19) was a special guest at the martial arts press conference for the “GLORY 4 Tokyo GRAND SLAM HEAVYWEIGHT” tournament which will be held at Makuhari Messe on December 2nd.

According to Sashihara, her appearance was decided at the last minute as she commented, “I was nervous if I would be told to try and challenge the martial arts.” She was asked if she liked martial arts and she looked at all the fighters around her shyly and said, “Yes… They’re SO tall, it really surprised me.”

The host then asked Sashihara if she would like a martial artist as a boyfriend, to which she smiled commenting, “I can’t answer those kind of questions right now…”

Many photos were taken and one that gained the most attention was of fighter Peter Aerts carrying Sashihara in his arms with a smile.

As announced previously, HKT48’s Sashihara Rino will be releasing her 2nd solo single “Ikujinashi Masquerade”, which will be used as the theme song to her starring movie “Muse no Kagami, My Pretty Doll”, on October 17th.

The song will be released in three different editions; Type A, B, and C, and all editions will come with a DVD, while first press limited edition of each type will include an application ticket for Sashihara’s event, as well as a trading card (1 out of 5 kinds).
