On November 26th, it was revealed during a live performance in Tokyo that Tachibana Keita (26), a member of the 3-man dance and vocal unit w-inds., will make his solo debut under the name KEITA.

Tachibana will begin his activities as a solo artist through his single “Slide’n’Step,” which will go on sale on February 20th of next year.  He was enthusiastic as he stated, “After a year of planning, this day has finally come.  I have listened to many different songs for over 10 years and have drawn out what I like; with this, I will create a form of entertainment that Japan has not yet seen.”

He also revealed a manly charm with his newly transformed, 8% fat body.  He will conduct his solo activities concurrently with his w-inds. activities.

With less than a month left, w-inds. has been revealing bits and pieces of their upcoming ninth album, “MOVE LIKE THIS“.

Scheduled to release on July 4th, they revealed the jacket covers for the album in May, then released a trailer for the album just a couple of days ago along with the three alternate covers that come with the fan club edition.

w-inds. has just released the trailer for their upcoming album ‘MOVE LIKE THIS‘. This is their 9th original album, and will be released on July 4th.

As previously reported, the album comes in 3 versions, limited edition, regular edition and fan club edition. The limited edition has a total of 12 songs, and also comes with a DVD that contains music videos and making of footage. The regular edition has a total of 13 songs and includes one bonus song..

Additionally, the changing jacket design for the fun club edition has been released. Fans can customize the CD jacket with three different member’s solo jacket covers.

Dance vocal unit w-inds. announced earlier this month they are releasing a new album this summer. Scheduled to drop July 4, ‘MOVE LIKE THIS‘ will be their ninth original album in over two years.

As previously mentioned, the album will come in two versions. The limited edition will have 12 tracks, including their last five singles “FLY HIGH“, “Addicted to love“, “Let’s get it on“, “Be As One“, and “You & I“. In addition, “Listen to the Rain” will be the lead track on the album along with six more new songs. The DVD will contain the music videos and the making-of videos for “Addicted to love”, “Let’s get it on”, “Be As One”, and “You & I”.

The regular edition will have an alternative cover and include bonus tracks to make a total of 13 tracks.

A special fan club edition will also be sold. This edition will have a different cover and include an application (also as a premium card)  to attend a premium live event. Additionally, the fan club edition will have two CDs, the 12-track CD and live CD from “w-inds. FAN CLUB LIVE TOUR 2012“.

On May 9th, vocal & dance unit w-inds. announced that they will release their 9th original album ‘MOVE LIKE THIS‘ on July 4th. This will be the first time in 2-years and 3-months since they released their last album ‘Another World‘.

The album will come in 2 types, limited edition(CD & DVD) and regular edition (CD only). Both editions will start the track list with the lead song “Rain“, and will include their hit singles “Addicted to love“, “Let’s get it on“, “Be As One“, “You & I” and “FLY HIGH“. The limited edition has 12 songs, while the regular edition has 1 bonus track with 12 songs (same as limited edition) for a total of 13 songs.

The DVD of limited edition includes the PV of “Addicted to love”, “Let’s get it on”, “Be As One”, “You & I” and the footage of the PV making.
