On January 14th, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu made a guest appearance in the coming of age day event,�'Shibuya-ku Seijin wo Iwau Kai', at Shibuya Kokaido.

Before the event, Kyary showed off her furisode (long-sleeved kimono) to the reporters.�"I aimed to be the most flashy new adult in Japan," she said and explained her reason for choosing a unicorn print, "My world tour starts in February, so I wanted it to mean expanding my activities abroad." Her furisode also featured images of�planet, rockets, and great white sharks.

She seemed to be greatly satisfied with her outfit as she expressed, "It's very special. I was impressed when I saw it finished."

Kyary, who will be turning 20-years-old on the 29th, commented, "During get-togethers, I'm still underage, so I would go home first. I'm shy in front of strangers, I hope to borrow the power of alcohol and talk cheerfully to many people." Since she loves ume (plum), she shared that her first alcoholic drink might be umeshu (ume liquor).

Finally, she stated, "As an artist, I want to do my best with my music activities in 2013."
