Takenouchi Yutaka's new movie " Taiheiyou no kiseki ~Fox to yobareta otoko~"(miracle in Pacific ~the man who was called FOX~) revealed that they will be filming in Thailand and is scheduled for a February 2011 release.
The movie is originally a book by Don Jones who was a United States Navy admiral, and is being made as a project of the 70th year since the outbreak of war between Japan and America. �The movie will be made in both Japanese and American angles.
Takenouchi plays general Ohba who was called FOX by American solders. �To prepare for the movie, Takenouchi �joined military training for 2 days, lost 5kg, and shaved his hair. �He also visited general Ohba's family to learn more about him.
Okada Yoshinori, Inoue Mao, Karasawa Toshiaki, and Yamada Takayuki will also be in the movie.
