Actress-turned-singer Chiaki Kuriyama has officially announced her second single, "Kanousei Girl," for a November 17th release.

The song has already been appointed as the new opening themes song to the TV Tokyo anime series "Gintama."� The lyrics are being penned by ex-SUPERCAR member Ishiwatari Jyunji and the composer will be Hotei Tomoyasu.� These two have teamed up to make a 'cool guitar rock song' that will make everyone want to sing along.� It will have excellent guitar accompaniment to the cute, but powerful, vocals of Chiaki.

The single will come in a regular CD form, a DVD first print, and a limited release "Gintama" edition.� The limited DVD version will include the "Kanousei Girl" PV and making of feature.

"Kanousei Girl" will begin its broadcast as the Gintama theme on October 4th. �Although the physical CD won't be due out until November, fans can pick up the track early on October 20th from Chaku-Uta cell phone downloads.
