It was learned on Monday that Korean singer K is going on hiatus by the end of November due to Korea�s conscription law. Military service is a constitutional duty for all males in Korea, and is required to be completed before they turn 30. As K will turn 27 in November, he is already at the time limit for him to fulfil his duty. After the duty, which lasts for approximately two years, he plans to resume his singing career in Japan.
Last July, K announced that he will be celebrating his fifth�anniversary in the entertainment industry with a concert at Nippon Budokan on November 30. As he is going on military service right after that, it is considered his last performance, and he will not be holding his usual Christmas concert this year.
As glum as that sounds for fans, they can still look forward to something, as K will be releasing a single titled, �dear��, on October 27th.
