The Ruins Art Music Project (R.A.M.P.) was formed back in May of this year with the intention of holding avant-garde art and music events in and around the city's abandoned schools, deserted houses, and empty apartment buildings, thereby redesigning and breathing new life into the disused ruins of Tokyo. This group of young 20-somethings hope to use each location's peculiarities to their fullest extent in order to draw a positive atmosphere out of the city's most degenerate spaces.
On October 23rd, R.A.M.P. Tokyo will hold it's first event, "Tokyo Hyper Factory", at the Shinkiba Warehouse Studio. The music starts at 5pm and will continue until 6am, while the art shows are slated to begin around 5 and wrap up by 10:30pm, though the schedule is subject to change. View the event time table and artist profiles here.
