To celebrate Tada Kaoru�s 50th birthday, an �Itazura na Kiss� commemorative DVD-BOX will be created in memory of the late manga artist.

Although details regarding which company is to release the DVD-BOX remain vague for the time being, the special package will have all 25 episodes of the anime, as well as an illustration that was drawn by Tada.

�Itazura na Kiss� started back in 1990 and was published through Margaret Comics. �A fatal cerebral�hemorrhage caused by an accident meant that Tada�passed away before she could complete the story, thereby releasing only 23 volumes. In 2008, an anime version was released with the ending theme built around her memory.

�Itazura na Kiss� is about a girl, Kotoko, who falls for the school's smartest guy, Naoki. Due to unusual circumstances, she moves into his house and thus a life of crazy, fun, and sad adventures await the cold-hearted, studious Naoki.

The story was adapted into a live-action drama in Taiwan called, �It started with a Kiss�, which ran for two seasons. Korea has just introduced their own adaptation of the story as a drama titled, �Mischievous Kiss�.
