Pop group GARNET CROW has announced they will be releasing a new album called "parallel universe" on December 8th.

This will be the eighth original album from the band, and it will, "Express a new world and aim for something new."� It will contain their latest single, "Over Drive", as well as "As the Dew", which was featured as the opening to the "Detective Conan" anime series.� All together it will have ten tracks. �The limited first print edition also comes with a DVD that contains three clips from their �August concert, "GARNET CROW Symphonic Concert 2010 ~All Lovers~."

On the same day that "parallel universe" hits stores, guitarist Okamoto Hitoshi will also be releasing the mini album, "Now Printing...", for his new project, "SUPER LIGHT."� This mini will contain seven total tracks, but fans can get a bonus free GARNET CROW download from Chaku-Uta if they enter the GR code sealed in the mini album.

GARNET CROW will also kick off their "parallel universe" tour in December.� They are currently discussing the idea of a sequel to last year's New Year's countdown live, but the end of 2010 is looking so busy for them that they aren't sure if it is feasible.� Stay tuned for any updates on new shows from GARNET CROW!
