It's been announced that actor Takahashi Katsunori will be starring a new drama on TV Asahi called, "Akutou (Villain)~Juhanzai Sousakan" which will start airing in January.

Takahashi normally plays upright characters in dramas, however he's decided to challenge himself with a unique role in playing a detective who will resort to any means to nab his criminal. Intimidation, assault, bluffs - nothing is too low for the detective to arrest his prey. Although this is a detective drama, it will focus more on the character of the detective himself. Other cast members such as�Koizumi Kotaro and Uchiyama Rina have been chosen to co-star with Takahashi for the drama.
