On November 20th, the '52nd Japan Record Awards' announced their list of nominees and award winners. It's odd to see that the winners for most of the categories have been selected already, but maybe that's just for brevity's sake.

The winners from the 'Best Song' and 'New Artist' categories will progress respectively to compete for the 'Japan Record Award' and 'Best New Artist' awards. The panel will select their choice in who should be awarded the 'Japan Record Award' from the 'Best Song' pool, while the winner for the 'Best New Artist' will be chosen from the 'New Artist' list.

The winners of these two categories will be announced during the broadcast of the show on�December 30th at 6:30 PM (JST).
