2010 has been very good�to Japan's biggest idol group, AKB48.�These girls recorded impressive sales figures for their singles - "Beginner" beat out Arashi's "Troublemaker" to be the #1 single of the year, for example -� and have made numerous international appearances, including Singapore, Los Angeles, and Seoul.

For their appearance on NTV's year-end music program, "Best Artist 2010", AKB48 performed a throwback medley of their past hits, "Aitakatta", "Iiwake Maybe", and "Heavy Rotation"! �We're sure some fans may be disappointed that they didn't perform "Beginner" or even "Ponytail no Shushu", but it's a great performance nonetheless.
