Singer�Mizuki Nana is celebrating her 10 year anniversay as a singer next year, and instead of releasing a single or album, the artist is releasing her first autobiography, "Shin'ai".

The book is about her life, and it starts from her childhood, when she grew up in Ehime, to her struggling life in the entertainment industry. She talks about how her father trained her to sing Enka songs since she was a child, and how it eventually led to her winning a karaoke contest. �She left her home at the age of 15 to go to school at Horikoshi High School for their entertainment department without support from her parents. �She got into the industry, but without a financial foundation, it was not without its perils.

Nana mentions how the company she was first with went bankrupt and her financial situation was not good, and at the same time her father's condition was worsening. You can say that this book is a book of confessions, and even though the odds weren't in Nana's favor, she never gave up and kept believing in her dream of a life in Tokyo.

The title of her book is actually the title of her 19th single, "Shin'ai", that was released on January 21, 2009. It reached #1 on the Oricon charts and she performed it at "Kouhaku Uta Gassen" that same year.

The book will release on Nana's 31st birthday, January 21st.
