AKB48's Kojima Haruna and Miyazawa Sae were out in Shinjuku recently to display their outfits from a recent Hewlett-Packard Japan commercial.
From January 25th, HP will take over 80 meters of the Shinjuku Station's Shinjuku Metro Promenade for their newest campaign, "HP Spring: Street featuring AKB48". †In addition to trial displays of the latest products produced by Hewlett-Packard, there will be a digital sign display and a clothing display featuring the clothes worn by the AKB48 members in the commercial! †Additionally, HP will distribute a "HP Spring: Street featuring AKB48" original clear file.
Although the girls were originally wearing the clothes as part of the campaign, they eventually learned that they would be given the clothes as a present, which surprised them. When asked about the clothes from the commercial, Kojima said, "Normally, AKB48 never wears these kinds of clothes, so I was really nervous," and Miyazawa added,†"My part was CG-enhanced, but when I saw the finished commercial, I was surprised by how gorgeous I was!"
In addition, Miyazawa added, "Before AKB48, I would go and check out the clothes that celebrities would wear and it made me happy. I hope many people get to see this," while Kojima commented,†"I think Shinjuku Station is busy, but I hope that people get to see it. I want to see it too!"
