Rock band Chirinuruwowka has recently reunited and resumed their activities, releasing the song "White Hall" today on January 12th.
Chirinuruwowowaka was originally formed as a side project by GO!GO!7188's lead vocalist and guitarist,Yuu. She was joined by Miyashita Haruhito on guitar, Eikichi Iwai on bass, and Abe Kousaku (THE COLLECTORS) on drums. They released their last single, "Shingetsu," back in 2006, making it well over four years since they put out any music. The band reunited back at the end of 2010 to do a tour, "Rokkin' Tour 'f'," swapping out Miyashita for the new guitarist Sakamoto Natsuki.
Their new track "White Hall" shows the depth of alternative sound from Yuu, and displays how much Chirinuruwowaka has evolved in their time apart. The band has already released a YouTube video clip for the song, and is attracting fans with their live performances.
Currently, the band is working on production for their mini-album, which is due to come out this spring. There are also plans for an event to happen around its release.
