Young actress Takei Emi is currently going through an exciting time in her career where everyone is starting to recognize her talent. She has become the first teenage image character for the hair care brand "TSUBAKI", and is appearing in Fuji TV's Monday drama right now, in a role that could almost be described as the third starring role next to Toda Erika and Miura Haruma.

Weekly tabloid and gravure magazine "FRIDAY" has featured a pictorial of her in their most recent edition that went on sale yesterday, and described her as a "diamond" among young actresses and "a shining star of the new generation". The pictures are as beautiful as usual and she herself left a short comment about the current drama and her ambitions.

"People say that I am very mature, but this might only be because I have been working in the industry since my first year in junior high school and have come in contact with a lot of adults since then.
