Pop singer hitomi has announced that she will be releasing her new single, "Umarete Kurete Arigatou/Smile World", on February 16th.

This will be her first release in a year and eight months since her "LOVE LIFE 2" album that made waves with its cover of her naked during her pregnancy.� The single will be a double A-side that features her song for the Yochien "Kodomomanaka PROJECT", titled "Umarete Kurete Arigatou", and also her 50th anniversary theme song for Sanrio's "GREEEN TOKYO HELLO KITTY & FRIENDS", called "Smile World."

Besides the two A-side tracks, there will also be a coupling song called "Song for you?" on the single.� It will be a heartwarming song about hitomi's hard struggle with being a mother and raising her child.
