On February 5th, AKB48 member, Itano Tomomi discontinued the handshake event which was held at Tokyo Big Sight, due to her current poor health condition. �The handshake event was for the fans who purchased "Chance no Junban (Theatrical edition)" which was released on December 8th, and Itano was going to appear at the event from 9:00 am ~ 8:30 pm (6 times in total, and each time is an hour and a half long). �However, she confessed that she was not feeling well after the 3rd event ended, and was sent to the hospital. �She was�diagnosed�with acute gastritis and�Itano tried to go back to the event, but her condition didn't improve. �Therefore, the final 3 parts out of 6 was canceled.



Itano wasn't the only one who had to discontinue the event. �Unfortunately, fellow member, Maeda Atsuko also confessed her poor health condition after the 5th part was finished. �Like Itano, Maeda was also going to appear 6 times for the day as well, however, the final 6th was canceled. �It seems like overwork was one of the reasons of her bad health condition.

For the substitutions for the two members are still under consideration.
