Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizo (33) and wife Kobayashi Mao (28) are expecting their first child this summer. Mao is currently five months pregnant and will be expecting to give birth sometime in July 2011.

Ebizo and Mao submitted their marriage registration on March 3, 2010. The news of their first child came to them before they celebrated their first anniversary together. Representatives state, �They both celebrated the great news together quietly.�

Mao is currently seeing a doctor in Tokyo and getting ready for the baby's birth. �After his incident this past November, Ebizo has been on suspension, so this brings great news for the family.

July is a special month for Ebizo and Mao. This past year on July 29th, they had their wedding ceremony and reception . Mao's birthday is on July 21st, and on top of that, her sister, Kobayashi Maya (31), has her birthday on July 12th. Since they expect the baby to be born in July, there may be a chance that the birth of the baby may coincide with one of these special days.

Ever since their marriage was announced, the Ichikawa family had high hopes for an early birth of a child from Ebizo and Mao.

At an event last March, when asked about children, Ebizo replied by saying, "I think we have�to work hard and fast on that," as he showed anticipation of becoming a father. Ebizo's mother, Kimiko, expressed her excitement and high hopes of having a grandchild soon at an event in October with Mao standing next to her.

Although they do not know if the baby is a girl or a boy yet,�it looks like Mao and Ebizo will be able to grant a soon-to-be grandmother's wish soon.
