Actress Yoshitaka Yuriko has been chosen as the new "communication partner" of Canon and introduced their new digital camera "IXY31S" at a PR-Event in Tokyo.

When the president of Canon handed over the new camera to Yoshitaka, she commented, "It's sleek, but also elegant and cute. I think it's a beautiful camera."

At the interview session she also revealed a cute story related to her commercials. She said, "The outfit definitely is perfect for spring, but we filmed it at the Tama River in December. It was extremely cold and I was shivering the whole time."

Furthermore, she announced that she's going to become a "camera girl" this year and take up photography, she hopes to take beautiful pictures of the four seasons of Japan.
