The anime song festival �A FES - Anime Song Festival -� has been canceled due to the earthquake. The festival was originally supposed to take place at Makuhari Messe Exhibition Hall in Chiba on March 26th and 27th.

The country is currently going through scheduled blackouts, so the power supply at Makuhari Messe would be uncertain, and the public transportation services are also unstable right now. Moreover, the area around the venue is still experiencing aftershocks, so taking the safety of those attending into consideration, the event has been canceled.

Furthermore, the �GO! FES 2011� music festival at Makuhari Messe on March 19th and 20th has also been canceled for the same reasons.
