It's been announced that girl group IDOLING!!!'s leader, Endo Mai had her first solo starring role in the upcoming movie, "Koneko no Kimochi (translates to 'a kitten's feelings')", which will be released in May .She also sang the theme song "Sora no Ki" for the film.

The film focuses on the theme of familial love. In the heartwarming tale, Endo's character, who loses her father in an accident, will raise an abandoned female kitten with her mother while trying to overcome their loss.

On her starring role, Endo commented, "There was pressure, but I was able to act in a good [filming] atmosphere. I want to improve my skills [as an actress] and use what I've learned in this experience elsewhere." She also called her feline acting partner "a great actress."
