Sunstar announced on the 8th and 9th that actress Konishi Manami would be the image character for �VO5 Super Keep Hairspray�.� With this new CM, it will mark the first time in 12 years since they've done a TV CM and the CM will air nationwide on the 20th.

Konishi is known for her silky long hair, but today she wore it up for the CM presentation. She encouraged those with thin and limp hair to use this product to keep it up.

VO5 was created in Hollywood in the 1950s and this year marks the 45th anniversary since the product�s introduction into the Japanese market. This new series is known for keeping hairstyles looking beautiful for long periods of time and there are three varieties of the product from a super firm type down to a light type.
