The fevers to debut with "Daiku no Ben-san"

allkpop

Rock group The fevers will be releasing their debut single on March 23rd, and they're drawing attention with their unique identity and sound.

The two members are known and credited as "daiku no Hitoshi-san" and "daiku no Iwa-san" ("daiku" meaning carpenter), and are said to be a collaboration effortbetweenthe twogroupsYuzu and TRICERATOPS. Their names are reflected on the cover of their debut single, "Daiku no Ben-san", where their carpenter motif is depicted in the form of famous classical composer and pianist Beethoven clutching a hammer and nails. However, Beethoven's appearance is not all that random -- the duo's title track is said to have a sound described as the "antithesis to folksound" and a rock number that borrows from the classical theme of Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony".

For those of you having a hard time imagining what it might sound like, it was featured on Yuzu's latest album "2-NI-", with the chorus by the band TRICERATOPS. Check it out below:

The coupling track, "Tulip", is said to have a beautiful harmony-based sound. The PV for the title track will be available on TOY'S FACTORY's official YouTube channel on March 16th.
