Kurashina Kana has been dreaming of becoming a big actress ever since the age of five, and she has never once stopped pursuing that dream.

She first made it into the entertainment industry by winning the prestigious "Miss Magazine" gravure contest in 2006, and stunned everyone with her glamorous body and bright-minded personality. After various minor roles in dramas and movies, she was then casted for the starring role in NHK's morning drama, "Welkame" (2009), which turned out to be her first small breakthrough. Her roles have gotten progressively bigger, and in the upcoming season we can see her as a yankee mother in "Namae wo Nakushita Megami".

Kurashina's dream of becoming a big actress is gradually becoming a possibility, which would become a perfect happy end for her "monogatari" (tale).
