"Princess Toyotomi", the movie based on Majime Manabu's popular novel, was released nationwide on 277 screens on May 28th.

Stars Tsutsumi Shinichi, Ayase Haruka, Okada Masaki, Nakai Kiichi, Sawaki Ruka, Morinaga Yuuki, and director Suzuki Masayuki appeared at Tokyo's TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills to greet viewers.

The theme of the movie is the bond between parents and their children, and Tsutsumi, revealing that he lost his father at the age of 20, looked back on the past, saying, "When I was a kid, the neighborhood liquor store had a bar space where you could stand and drink. On days off, I would follow my father and stand still beside him. I would stare at the hot dogs until my father finally realized what I was doing and bought one for me. It was a really happy time for me."

Ayase, on the other hand, had a habit of seeing her father off by the front door as he left for work. She made the crowd laugh, saying, "When I saw him off saying, 'Have a good day!', my foot got caught under the car my father was driving. That's what I remember."

Nakai, unable to stop roaring with laughter, could only say, "What a wonderful father!", as Ayase looked at him blankly. "But it didn't hurt. I wonder if it's because it was going slow," she said, enlivening the crowd as she showed off her natural airheadedness.

In addition, Celtic Woman, who sang the movie's theme song, "Eien no Kizuna~Princess Toyotomi no Theme", appeared as a special guest to introduce their song.
