With AKB48�s 3rd Senbatsu General Election coming to a close, it has left many of the members with various feelings. Some are ecstatic, some are depressed, some are sad for themselves but happy for others and vice versa.

Among them was AKB48 Team K member Minegishi Minami, who left a heartfelt message for her fans after the election.

Minegishi�s dream was to place in media senbatsu, which are the top 12 girls in the election. Last year she was rank #14 and during the early results this year, she was rank #13 -- boosting her hopes up that she would finally be in media senbatsu. However, when election day came and the results were announced, Minegishi Minami dropped a rank from last year to #15. She stated, �During the early results I was #13, and my dream was to be in the media senbatsu for the first time, so I�m feeling a little frustrated�.

She posted that she got support from many of her fans saying things like: �You can move up from last time!� and �You should be in media (senbatsu)!� Despite being thankful for the encouragement, she also felt sorry to her fans, �I�m sorry. You guys don�t have to apologize at all, I�ve personally gotta work even harder starting from tomorrow! The reason to think about doing my best is for myself, but also because I want to see everyone smile even more.�

Minegishi, who usually posts such negative things about herself, is really looking forward and taking a positive approach this time stating, �As always, thank you so much. I am grateful to those who voted for me and support me. I�m not forgetting that the number of votes I received exceeded last year by a lot, but �being me� I�ll take off running at a pace I can�t be caught!!!!�.

Minegishi finished up her post with a cute picture of her and fellow members Takahashi Minami and Maeda Atsuko, who was #1 in this year�s election.

�Somehow, please continue to love me from now on and forever <3 No matter what happens to me, I love everyone who�s supporting me. Congrats Acchan on being #1. The AKB members and the fans, I applaud each and every one of you for all your hard work�.
