On June 10th, Plastic Tree held a free live in Taiwan. The concert celebrated the band's Taiwanese release of their latest album Ammonite on June 9th (previously released in Japan in April). Although this was the sixth time Plastic Tree performed in Taiwan, it was their first free live.
Despite the heavy rain that day,approximately1,000 fans showed up to listen to the band perform for about 30 minutes.
Vocalist Arimura Ryutaro was the MC for the night, and he impressed fans with his humble attitude. The star expressed, Were a Japanese band and were so grateful to everyone in Taiwan. We want to thank you all for so many things. The thankful comment was made in reference to all the support their Taiwanese fans gave to Japan after the Great Tohoku Earthquake.
