On July 23rd, actress Kiritani Mirei held a press conference for her upcoming movies "Ranhansha" and "Snowflake" in Osaka.

In "Ranhansha", Kiritani plays the role of a high school student who falls in love with a childhood friend. For her second movie "Snowflake", the actress plays the slightly older role of a college student who tries to solve the mysterious death of a classmate.

While double featuring on-screen was a common style during the Showa Era (19261989), Kiritani - who was born in the first year of theHeisei Era - seemed to have been taken aback by it at first. "I was surprised because I didn't know what double feature was," said the young actress. "I was worried that they would get bored with me, but it felt strange that I was the only one who kept making appearances."

At the end of the event, she surprised the press by promoting the movies in Babi language (adding the letter from the 'ba' row in the Japanese alphabet after each letter). "Zebehibi mibinabasaban mibitebe kubudabasabaibi (Everyone, by all means, please watch it)," she said to the audience.
