Right now child actors such as Suzuki Fuku and Ashida Mana have become very popular after their recent roles in dramas. However, they aren't the only ones that are grasping the attention of viewers. Seven year old Tani Kanon is currently on the rise. Tani currently plays a bratty little girl in Aragaki Yui and Nishikido Ryo's drama 'Zenkai Girl'.

Aragaki comments about Tani saying, "It's amazing how she can be so child like during wait times and suddenly go into work mode in a instant. Her eyes suddenly become devilish".

Tani Kanon debuted at the age of four and recently made her break in 'Namae wo Nakushita Megami', where she played the daughter of a celebrity mother. From her very mature looks to her expressive acting, she is gaining as much attention as Ashida Mana, who is the same age as her. When asked what she wants to be when she grows up she commented, "When I grow up I want to be an ice cream shop owner more than an actress", showing that she still is, after all, a seven year old girl.
