Anzen Chitai kicks off their national tour

After making a sudden and surprising comeback last year, rock band�Anzen Chitai has finally kicked off their national tour. �The first stop, Kanagawa Minami Ashigara-shi Cultural Plaza on September 17th.

When vocalist Tamaki Koji opened with his hit solo song, "Denen" 1,110 fans jumped to their feet and applauded. They performed over 20 former hit songs, plus their new song, "Anzen Chitai XII".



This concert was Tamaki's first appearance after getting married to Aota Noriko in July. �He performed a collection of his solo songs including "ALL I DO" (1987) as well as showcased his skills on the drums and other percussion instruments. The latter half of the concert saw Tamaki jumping into the crowd and being bombarded by female fans while performing songs like "Jirettai" (1987). Tamaki also changed some of the lyrics in "Kanashimi ni Sayonara" (1985) to 'Ai wo Higashi Nihon no tame ni (Love for Eastern Japan)' bringing about louder applause.



Tamaki left the stage with joy and gratitude shouting, "Thanks for coming out tonight everyone! Domo-ne!" while showing a hug gesture to the crowd. This tour will have 29 concerts dates ending on December 18th at Hokkaido's Asahikawa Citizen Hall.
