The second issue of the lifestyle magazine, "GLOBAL WORK", will feature a same-generation interview with editor-in-chief Mizushima Hiro and soccer player Hasebe Makoto.

This interview was put into effect after Hasebe read the March 31st issue of the magazine, and became interested in Mizushima. The two met through a mutual acquaintance, and clicked immediately. At the time, Mizushima was starting the production of the second issue, and officially offered to interview him.

Mizushima and Hasebe talked a total of three times. For the first, they used an internet communication tool to talk between Japan and Germany. They kicked off the interview after Hasebe suggested, "Hiro, lets stop the polite language starting today," and Mizushima replied, "I think I'll be able to do it if I think I'm acting." Afterwards, the two talked about their first impressions about each other, and gave opinions about their image of a leader.

The second interview was held at each other's house in a relaxed atmosphere. According to Hasebe's impression, Mizushima resembles soccer player Honda Keisuke, because he is always 'ON-mode'. From there, they talked about how to 'turn on the switch' as soccer players and actors. On top of that, the two 27-year old men talked about 'their generation'.

The final interview was held at a hotel after the game against Korea in Sapporo on August 10th. This day, Japan won 3-0, and achieved their first victory against Korea at home in 13 years. Mizushima commented, "You were very cool!", and exchanged a handshake with Hasebe. The two talked about Japan's future, as Hasebe said, "I hope Japan will stand on its feet as a country with heart," while Mizushima expressed, "I want Japan to be a society that will respect each other's ways of thinking and opinions." They wrapped up their talk saying, "We need to become the two that will change Japan."

The second issue of "GLOBAL WORK" has the theme of 'serendipity', and will be released on September 5th.
