On September 9th, idol group Momoiro Clover Z held a live performance at the pre-opening event for the 'Japan Media Arts Festival Dortmund 2011' in Germany.

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Germany-Japan exchanges, the 'Japan Media Arts Festival Dortmund 2011' will be held from September 10th to October 2nd. The pre-opening event was held on September 9th at 3AM JST, and was broadcasted live via Nico Nico Douga and DOMMUNE.

For their first overseas performance, Momoiro Clover Z kicked off the event with energetic songs such as "Ikuze! Kaitou Shoujo", "Chai Maxx", and "Coco?Natsu". The girls challenged themselves with an introduction in German. However, they forgot or fumbled with some of the words. Sasaki Ayaka, who was in charge of the MCs, strongly declared, "We brought the passionate Japan to Germany!" Then the group sang, "Z Densetsu Owarinaki Kakumei", "D' no Junjou", "Wani to Shampoo", "Hashire!", and "Kono Uta".

As they watched the girls over the live broadcast, Japanese fans expressed their envy with the set list, which weaved hits both old and new. The five performed with all their might in a completely different environment.

At the end, Vocaloid characters Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin made an appearance on the screen, and delivered a cover of "Saikyou Pare Parade",the theme song for anime "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu".

Additionally, Momoiro Clover Z has been filming their stay in Germany for their regular show, "Momokuro-chan" on TV Asahi's video site "Tele-asa Douga". The clip is said to feature an incident-filled journey that fans shouldn't miss out on.
