Vision Factory's new idol group Fairies has become the youngest female group to have their own radio show.
At an average age of 13.1, the girls have surpassed their 'senpai' SPEED's previous record of 13.2, which was set back in 1996 with "Hai! SPEED de Ikou!".
Titled "Fairies no Fly to the World", the radio show will air on Nippon Broadcast and aired it's first episode on October 7th. Fairies aim for the world as they learn English with listeners utilizing music and lyrics from other countries.
The chief of organization, Hinohara Maki explained, "The girls have a solid foundation as they have taken strict voice and dance lessons. As an essential element for them to spread their wings into the world, we will have them learn English and conversation. I want to create Japan's original stars through the radio. I hope that this will give hope to people of the same generation."
The first episode will feature Fairies' debut song, "More Kiss", and Adele's "Someone Like You". Member Nomoto Sora expressed, "We want to take this radio opportunity to increase our work, and eventually hold a live at Tokyo Dome or Nippon Budokan. We want to become artists who will be accepted by the world."
