Ikimonogakari to sing for Ichihara Hayato's upcoming drama

It has been revealed that popular group, Ikimonogakari will be singing the theme song for Ichihara Hayato's newest drama, 'Runaway~Aisuru Kimi no Tame ni'. The song will be titled, "Aruiteikou" and is set to be released on November 23rd. It is a medium ballad written and composed by Mizuno Yoshiki, guitarist and vocalist of Ikimonogakari.

The drama follows four young men that plan out to escape and break out of prison for their own personal goals. From Kitakyushuu to Tokyo, they face obstacles and problems along the way while ultimately revolting against society's decision to put them in prison. This is Ichihara's first lead role in nearly two years. Along with Ichihara, Tsukamoto Takashi, KAT-TUN's Ueda Tatsuya, Suda Masaki and Fukuda Saki will bring this story to life.

Along with the announcement of this new theme song, Ikimonogakari has confirmed that they will be releasing their newest concert live DVD "Ikimono Matsuri 2011 Donata Summer mo Tanoshimima Show!!! ~Yokohama Stadium~" on December 14th. This will feature footage from their Yokohama Stadium live earlier this year.

Ichihara's new drama "Runaway ~Aisuru kimi no tameni" starts on October 27th.
