On November 20th, actor Matsuzaka Tori held a commemorativeevent for his 2nd photo book, "TAO".
Matsuzaka, who challenged his first nude shots, commented, "Rather than shooting for a photo shoot, I felt like I was shooting a movie. Even the nude shots, I felt it was shot with the flow of a story, so there was no resistance."
The photo book was shot in Shanghai during the summer. "It's different from my first photo book, I think I was able to show my mature side. I wanted to show growth during my 23 years, so it includes expressions that people haven't seen before," he expressed.
Matsuzaka currently stars in the drama, 'Kaito Royale', and will star in NHK's 'Ume-chan Sensei', next April. He reflected upon this year saying, "This year, I feel I was at full speed. It was a year of upheaval; I was able to enjoy a fulfilled time."
He also shared that he wants to aim higher next year and stated, "I want to always do my best to challenge myself with work. I want to walk that kind of path (tao)."
