On November 10th, rock band Moonriders announced that they would be going on an indefinite hiatus after this year.

The band revealed, "After discussion with the members, Moonriders have decided to put a halt on band activities indefinitely. We will be happy if you support the members' solo activities."

They also thanked their fans, saying, "Thanks to those who listened, supported, and loved the band all these years, Moonriders was able to continue for 35 years. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts."

On December 14th, Moonriders will be releasing their new album, "Ciao!". To coincide with this release, the band will also hold a live concert called "Ciao! THE MOONRIDERS" at Nanba Hatch on December 13th and at Nakano Sun Plaza on the 17th.

Moonriders made their debut in 1976, but under the name "Suzuki Keiichi to Moonriders". Over the years, they have been active in various CMs, movies, games, and anime series. They have also been producing and providing songs for other artists. Since 2005, the band has been releasing works under their independent label, "moonriders records".
