On November 14th, a presentation event for the annual 'Sanai Swimsuit Image Girl' was held, where the swimsuit company revealed their 11th image girl as 15-year old Miyahara Kanon.

As the youngest to become the brand's image girl, Miyahara commented, "I'm very surprised. I'm anxious, but I will do my best, so please give me your support."

Miyahara, who has an outstanding body at 170 cm (about 5'7") with measurements of 82-59-86 cm (32-23-34 in), is very skillful in karate. In grade school, she won the '7th All-Japan Boys and Girls Karate Championships', and in middle school, she ranked in the top 4 in the '14th Kanto Junior Karate Championships'. Now in high school, Miyahara stays committed to karate, and plans to win the inter-high school competition.

This also marked the very first time the brand selected a winner through the general application process. Miyahara shared that she yearns to become like�talento Kinoshita Yukina, who was the 6th image girl for the brand. She stated, "Her smile is always lovely that I feel like I'm the one having fun. I really like her."

Hereafter, Miyahara will appear in swimsuit campaign posters, CMs, and shows with the 2012 swimsuit theme, "Beach Story 'Eternal'".
