On December 23rd, actress Motokariya Yuika (24) held a handshake event in Tokyo to celebrate the release of her new photobook, "AIR".

Morikariya (who's known as a "pure actress") revealed that this book will include her first sexy photos. "I wanted to try my best to break out of my shell, and doing so inspired the exposure," she said.

For her photoshoot, Morikariya and her team flew to 'power spots' in Hawaii, such as Kilauea Volcano and Mauna Kea. She commented, "I thought the goddess would let me borrow some of her power, so I was able to try something new. The weather during the shoot was nice, and some�miraculous things happened. It was such a lucky photoshoot."

Motokariya also revealed that posing sexily was a bit of a challenge for her. "I was reluctant to pose like that in front of the staff, more than worrying about the reactions of fans. It was a big challenge for me."

Approximately 800 fans attended the handshake event.
