Vocaloid producer Darvish-P has announced that he'll be making his major debut with a solo album titled "5150" on March 7th!
Darvish-P learned how to play guitar at a very young age, and was part of a band for five years after graduating from high school. He made his debut as a Vocaloid producer in January of 2009, and has since explored a variety of styles by posting heavy rock music with Vocaloids onto Nico Nico Douga. His creations and skilled guitar performances drew a wide following online, so much so that his song "twitter" (which was released on December 9th) reached 100,000 acesses in just two days.
When asked about his upcoming major label debut, Darvish-P said, "It's been about three years since I began my Vocaloid activities. I never even dreamed that I would be able to put out my first Vocaloid album like this. I think it'll end up being an album packed with all the life of the music I've [released] until now. I would be so happy if you could sense how the person known as me put all his effort into it."
The album will contain previously released tracks featuring Vocaloids Hatsune Miku and Megupoid, as well as a song featuring Nano as a bonus track.
Stay tuned for more information on "5150"!
