Rock band DOPING PANDA has announced that they will be disbanding in April.

Member Furukawa Yutaka (Vo, G) shared a message with their fans through the band's official website, saying, "We decided that we would come to an end if�we couldn't go any further, music-wise."

The band will hold their final live, "DOPING PANDA 2012/4/19", on April 19th at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL. Ticket pre-orders will start on January 28th at 9:00 p.m. JST via "GET TICKET".

DOPING PANDA formed 15 years ago in 1997, and made their major debut in 2005. They gained a lot of attention after their single, "beautiful survivor", was used as the CM song for Shinseido's "ANESSA" in 2008.

In January of last year, the band released their first best-of album, "THE BEST OF DOPING PANDA". Then in March of the same year, they released their full album, "YELLOW FUNK".
