AKB48's Nagoya sister group, SKE48, have sold�496,000 copies of their latest single, "Kataomoi Finally" in its first week! As such, they've topped the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking for the week of February 6th.
Though the group debuted in August of 2009, this marks their's first time to achieve sales of over 400,000 units. "Kataomoi Finally" has sold 113,000 more copies than their previous single, "Okie Dokie", making this the highest first week sales out of any AKB-related group (excluding AKB48).
"Kataomoi Finally" is described as a serious number that conveys the feelings of unrequited love. The shocking content of the PV includes scenes of the members involved in homosexual love, jealousy, bullying, and violence.
