Popular mystery manga "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo" will resume its serialization in 'Weekly Shonen Magazine'!
The original manga was serialized in 'Weekly Shonen Magazine from 1992 to 2000. Then, from 2004 to 2011 the new series was featured on an irregular basis. This will mark the first time in 12 years that the manga will be serialized regularly.
The story of "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo" revolves around a high school student named Kindaichi Hajime, whose grandfather is the famous private detective Kindaichi Kosuke. Using the reasoning skills he inherited from his grandfather, Hajime solves one case after another.
The manga is written by Amagi Seimaru and illustrated by Sato Fumiya. In 1995, it was adapted into a live-action drama starring Kinki Kid's Domoto Tsuyoshi. It was also turned into a tv anime series in 1997.
"Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo" will resume its serialization on the 14th issue of the magazine, which will be published on March 7th. In this new episode, Hajime will face the 'Man-eating Laboratory', a cursed building that has been abandoned since before the war.
