School Food Punishment announces indefinite hiatus

On February 1st, rock band School Food Punishment announced that they will be going on an indefinite hiatus.

The members posted an update on their official webpage, commenting, "We thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you've continued to support us." They also revealed their future plans saying,�"From here on, we each plan to continue our music activities in a different form." The members' future activities will be gradually announced through their Twitter accounts and blogs.

School Food Punishment is a four-piece rock band comprised of Uchimura Yumi (Vo), Hasuo Masayuki (Synth), Yamasaki Hideaki (B), and Hidai Osamu (Dr). The band formed in October of 2004, and became known for their cover of JUDY AND MARY's "Brand New Wave Upper Ground", which was included in the band's�tribute album in March of 2009.�In May of the same year, they finally made their major debut with the single, "futuristic imagination". Their most recent single, "How to go", was picked up as the opening theme song to the tv anime, "UN-GO".
