On March 22nd, it was reported that singer Nakashima Mika (29) is currently in a relationship with volleyball player Shimizu Kunihiko (25) of the Panasonic Panthers.

According to sources, Nakashima is a big fan of volleyball and often goes to watch the Premier League matches. The couple met through a mutual acquaintance and started dating around 6 months ago.

Shimizu was the youngest player to participate in the Beijing Olympics back in 2008 at the age of 21. He's known as one of the best attackers on Japan's national team and has been nicknamed 'Gori'.

Although usually calm during press conferences, Shimizu brings out his competitive side during matches. He even sheds a few tears in front of the crowd after winning games.

Regarding their relationship, a representative of the Panasonic Panthers commented, "We have nothing to say because it's a private matter."
