On March 24th, it was announced that SKE48 member Matsui Jurina and NMB48 member Watanabe Miyuki have joined AKB48 as of today.

The�surprise�announcement was made during their concert at Saitama Super Arena. Matsui joined team K while Watanabe joined team B. �Their initiation to AKB48 will be for a limited time, and they will also continue being members of SKE48 and NMB48 respectively.

It was also announced that 5 research students, Kato Rena, Kawaei Rina, Iwata Karen, Tano Yuuka, and Takahashi Juri are now promoted to team 4. �With this promotion, team 4 now has a total of 16 members.
