On March 5th, Yamashita Tomohisa attended sports brand PUMA's press conference as the image character for its "PUMA SOCIAL Campaign".

Wearing a blue PUMA jersey and jeans, Yamashita commented, "I've worn PUMA since long ago. It's a nice surprise to be chosen as the image character for a world-known brand."

During the photo shoot, Yamashita got to wear PUMA's latest model of ultra-lightweight shoes. When asked about his impressions, he responded, "I think it'll give me good performance during dance lessons and gym work-outs."

For the campaign visual, Yamashita shows off his body dressed as 7 different characters, such as a 'captain' and 'referee'. He revealed his secret for maintaining his physique with, "I try not to build up stress, eat when I want to, run at the gym once a week, and do weight training. I'm also careful not to eat in the middle of the night. It's best to exercise with enjoyment."

Since the campaign's theme is "play together", Yamashita was also asked about his recent nightlife. He replied, "I go drinking, play billiards, and darts with my artist friends or classmates from high school. My image of PUMA has changed through this campaign, so I'm thinking about wearing PUMA the next time I go out."
