It's been reported that AKB48's Watanabe Mayu will be absent from a portion of the group's nationwide tour, "AKB48 Nationwide Tour 2012 'Nonaka Misato, Ugoku. ~47 Todofuken de Aimashou~'", due to poor health.
According to the announcement, Watanabe was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis and inflammation around the pharynx after medical examination.
Consequently,�Watanabe will be absent from Team B's upcoming concerts on April 11th at Hiroshima Bunka Kouryu Kaikan and on the 12th at Kobe Kokusai Kaikan Kokusai Hall. Watanabe had hoped that she would be able to participate; however, the doctors had put a stop to her performance.
April 11th will be Team B's first concert of AKB48's nationwide tour.
