At teaser for the upcoming live-action adaptation "Kyo, Koi wo Hajimemasu" has recently been released on its official website!

As reported previously, popular manga "Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu" will get a live-action movie adaptation starring Takei Emi and Matsuzaka Tori. In the movie, Takei will play 'Hibino Tsubaki', a nerdy high school girl who is indifferent towards love, while Matsuzaka will be 'Tsubaki Kyouta', a big playboy who steals Tsubaki's first kiss.

In the teaser we can see Takei as the unfashionable Tsubaki, wearing her hair in braids and sporting a typical school uniform from the Showa era with the knee length skirt and the threefold socks for the first time. After just staring at Kyouta on various occasions, he suddenly approaches her and says, "From today on, you'll by my woman," while patting her on the head. Her heart is trembling, "Today, I started to fall in love with such a horrible guy... What should I do?"

The manga has sold over 8,000,000 copies and depicts one of the greatest high school love stories, which made it a so-called 'love bible' for many female senior high school students. Will this live-action adaptation experience a similar success?

"Kyo, Koi wo Hajimemasu" is scheduled to open in cinemas nationwide at the end of this year.
